With flexible membership options and opportunities to engage at your own pace, it’s easy to find your place here, whether you’re just getting started or looking to take the next step.
Introduction to our Free Membership

Free members are still invited to attend events, participate in conversations, and promote what they do within the group. While this tier comes with fewer perks, it’s an open door to meaningful connections and community support—no pressure, no expectations, just a chance to get involved and see if Young Pros feels like the right fit for you.

The Value of Professional Networking
Building strong relationships and brand loyalty is at the heart of any successful business. Joining a group like Young Professionals of Chehalem Valley gives you a chance to meet others who are navigating similar challenges, share what you’ve learned, and open new doors, sometimes in the most unexpected ways.
Whether you’re looking for referrals, collaborators, clients, or simply people to cheer you on, networking with other young professionals can be a game-changer. You don’t have to do it all alone, and this community helps make that clear.
What Kinds of Networking Are Out There?
Not all networking groups are created equal—and that’s a good thing. Some focus on mentorship and business coaching. Others prioritize community involvement or industry-specific collaboration. You might have heard of groups like BNI (Business Network International) or Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), which offer their own unique ways to connect and lead.
What makes Young Pros different is how local, relaxed, and relationship-first we are. No high-pressure pitches. No gatekeeping. Just a supportive group of professionals who genuinely want to help each other grow.

A Few Things to Know
Before you join, here are a few quick guidelines:
- Membership is for new members only (Not available to those with current Chamber membership)
- You’ll need to attend 4 events total before you qualify—they don’t have to be consecutive, and if you’ve been active with Young Pros in the past year, those visits count toward your total.
Why 4 visits?- We ask for this level of involvement prior to accepting membership because we’re building a committed community, not just a contact list. Showing up consistently helps build trust among members and ensures that those who join are genuinely invested. It also helps protect the time and energy of our all-volunteer leadership team, so we can keep creating meaningful opportunities for everyone involved.
