Here’s the good news: Young Pros events are intentionally designed to be friendly, welcoming, and easy to ease into. There’s no dress code, no required introductions, and absolutely no pressure to “work the room.” Come as you are and we’ll help you find someone to talk to.
If you’re unsure where to start, let one of the hosts or leadership team members know it’s your first time, we’ll make sure you feel at home right away.
Tips to Make the Most of Your Networking Experience

Before the Event:
• Bring business cards or a way to share your contact info
• Set a personal goal for what you’d like to get out of the session
• Have a quick intro ready, something that sums up who you are and what you’re currently working on or interested in

During the Event:
• Start with a smile and a few open-ended questions
• Mingle and mix it up, don’t be afraid to move around and meet new people
• Share your story and listen to others, this is how great relationships start

After the Event:
• Don’t forget to follow up! A quick message or social media connection can go a long way
