First Job First paying gig I ever had was actually building a website for a skateboard company.  I was 12 years old and they paid me $100.  It was pretty much the best day of my 12-year old life.  My first “job” was actually Burger King – worked there for 4 months before starting Zao when I was 18. Best answer so far! Pretty radical.

Dream Job Doing what I’m doing now.  I can’t imagine a better way to work.

Favorite Happy Hour/Tasting Room/Bar in the Valley Hmm, I really enjoy the rooftop bar at McMenamins in the summer.

Best Restaurant in the Valley Hands down, Le Bistro Maison on 3rd St.

Finish this sentence…”I know this makes me sound old but…” Hmmm…I remember watching Clinton get inaugurated.

The worst movie I have ever seen is…I’m going to call it a tie between Twilight and The Mask.

Advice for my high-school self  Ignore your counselor, dropping out and starting a business is a great idea.  Also, be kind to everyone because the 16-year old version of you is kind of a doof.

Group/organization/demographic you are most driven to help Everyone.  I do have particular passions and pet causes, but in reality, anytime I find anyone (homeless, business owner, family, friend) that I can really truly help – I try to.   There are few things in life more satisfying than practicing generosity, so any area in life that I can do that – I will.

When I have a day off I… What’s a day off? I kid 🙂  I love taking spontaneous trips with my family to Pacific City.

When I have an out-of-town visitor, the top 3 things they should do in Yamhill Valley are… Definitely hit up Red Hills Market and 3rd St. in McMinnville.  Wine tours seems cliché, but hey, people love them 🙂

Yamhill Valley really needs… Chipotle and Fire on the Mountain.  Also, more young professionals 🙂 YES

Justin came to his first meeting last month at the Grain Station in Mac.  He surprised everyone with his generosity by paying remaining tabs for the young pros left at the end of the night.  THEN he offered to sponsor the pizza at our last event.  He is incredibly down-to-earth, easy going, and clearly a family man.  Justin also just started a church with his wife in McMinnville.  Not his McMinnville wife, with his wife, in the town of McMinnville.  He clearly walks the walk when it comes to practicing generosity.  I think Yamhill Valley and the Young Pros will learn a lot from Justin and we can’t wait to see what he does in the future.
