YOUNG PROFESSIONALS OF YAMHILL VALLEY CODE OF CONDUCT
All individuals attending or participating in events sponsored or organized by the YOUNG PROFESSIONALS OF YAMHILL VALLEY agree to the following:
Treat other members, guests, and the public with respect and kindness whenever representing the organization.
Be respectful of our hosts and venues.
Consume alcohol or other substances in a responsible manner.
Exercise appropriate and professional boundaries when interacting with others.
Participate in a cooperative and positive way during meetings and activities.
Affirmatively support other members if you witness any abusive or inappropriate behavior.
Accept responsibility for your own actions.
Respect the rights, dignity, and worth of all participants regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background, sexual orientation, or religion.
The following behavior will never be tolerated at meetings or activities:
Abusive language towards members, guests, or other participants.
Discourtesy or rudeness to members, guests, or other participants.
Verbal, physical, or visual harassment of members, guests, or other participants.
Actual or threatened violence toward any individual or group.
Conduct endangering the life, safety, health, or well-being of others.
Bullying or taking unfair advantage of any participant.
If you observe a violation of the organization’s Code of Conduct, you may report it to any member of the Board of Directors for review and appropriate action.
